Family FAQ
Candidate FAQ
Does NestWell guarantee that I will be placed with a family?
While we "Speak Up for You" and provide professional advocacy, we cannot guarantee a placement, as the final hiring decision rests with the family.
Can I get a refund for my background check or online courses? Background check fees are strictly non-refundable. For online courses, a 100% refund is available if requested within 24 hours of purchase; after that, refunds are at the agency's discretion.
In specific circumstances, we may offer partial refunds on a case-by-case basis
What happens if my background check is still pending after 10 days?
If a background check has not been cleared after 10 days, your profile may be placed on a temporary hold or stay in pending status. However, we review every candidate individually. In some cases, if we feel your experience and assessment show you are a great fit for a family, we may reach out to the family to see if they are willing to cover the cost of the screening to expedite your placement. Otherwise, your profile will remain pending until the background check is finalized.
Can I still apply if I need to update my CPR or First Aid certification?
Yes! You can absolutely begin your application while you are in the process of renewing your certifications. We even offer assistance with CPR/First Aid certifications as professional "add-ons" to help you meet our safety standards and get your profile ready for families
What is the process after I submit my application?
We typically review applications in less than two business days. If selected, you will complete an interview questionnaire and a professional assessment to ensure you are matched with the right family.
